Kito-Fix - 2185

Kito-Fix is a fixative for vaginal cytology.

• POLYETHYLENGLYCOL (PEG) - EC   500-038-2 - CAS   25322-68-3

The raw materials used for the manufacturing and packaging are not toxic, phthalate free and latex free.

FIXING PROCEDURE

• Spray the fixative evenly on the smear (3-4 times) at a distance of about 20 cm from the slide.
• Wait for 5/10 minutes, until the protective film is formed. The resistant and soluble film allows to best preserve the cellular material until staining.
• The fixed smear can be stained directly but it is recommended to remove the film layer through a passage in distilled water (1 - 2 minutes).
