Positively charged specimen slides - 2726

Positively charged specimen slides, with dimensions of 25 mm x 75 mm - 1 mm thick (ISO Norm 8037 / I), ground at 90°, specifically designed to improve adhesion to the specimen slide. Pre-washed, ready to use and provided with ground edges and 20 mm white color end on one side.

The hydrophobic surface treated with a special formula attracts electrostatically frozen tissue sections and cytological and histological preparations. KOLORFROST PLUS microscope slides, compared to standard slides, make samples adhesion easier without the need for special adhesive or protein coating.
KOLORFROST PLUS slides are specifically designed for microscopic examination of samples of blood, urine and tissue and for immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization or immune peroxidase procedures.
KOLORFROST PLUS microscope slides eliminate background staining in standard H&E stains and avoid brown spots forming during immune peroxidase procedure obtaining high degrees of enzymatic digestion without loss of tissue sections.

Further advantages:
- cytology preparations are resistant to loss of cells during the enzymatic digestion, DNA denaturation and hybridization of RNA;
- tissue adhesion improvement during microwave staining procedure.

Compatible, after verification, with most of thermal transfer or laser printers available on the market.
