Control unit for paraffin embedding of histological samples.

The technical characteristics of the Embed 503 inclusion control unit are the following:

• Aluminum structure painted with RAL 7035 polyester and TGIC-free powder paint.

• Large, washable, stainless steel container for liquid paraffin provided with cover and filter to hold back impurities.  Digital display for temperature setting.

• Stainless steel tank for base moulds provided with cover. Stainless steel tank for approx. 200 embedding cassettes. Temperature programmed by means of regulators on the equipment side.

• Paraffin automatically dispensed through a heated nozzle controlled by a lever or manually dispensed through a pedal switch.

• Magnifying lens mounted on the dispensing terminal.

• Large box for collecting the excess paraffin.

• Low voltage functioning (12-24V). Halogen lamp for working surface enlightening.

• No. 2 tweezers holders heated by contact with the working plate. Cooling through Peltier plate system.

• Paraffin vapour aspiration with active carbon filtering system.

CHECK PANEL:

• Functioning light.
• Suction switch to turns on the suction system and working surface light.
• Digital electronic thermo-regulators for temperature set-up of the paraffin container, paraffin dispenser and working surface (hot plate).
• Manual thermos-regulators for base moulds and embedding cassettes tanks.
